Organic and PDO Single Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Messara Valley Greece
Verdant EVOO
Tasting Notes:A classic Picual from Jaén, Spain, selected for the greener side of olive oil. Tomato leaf and fresh-cut grass lead the aroma, followed by green tomato, bell pepper, lettuce and bitter endive. Black pepper, warm spice and mint carry through the finish. It is bright and distinctly green without becoming punishingly bitter or throat-catching.
Provençale Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Tasting Notes:This year’s Provençale extra virgin olive oil is crafted from a blend of Columella, Nocellara del Belice, Picholene, Arbosana & Cailletier olives. These olive varietals tend to produce very mild, smooth & fruity olive oils, and are harvested & milled late in the season to maximize the sweet and buttery notes of the fruit.
Signature Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Tasting Notes:This year’s Signature extra virgin olive oil is a special mono-varietal bottling of oil only from Columella olives. Columella olives tend to produce a particularly buttery, smooth, mild, & fruity olive oil. This year’s harvest of these olives was picked and milled very late in the season to maximize the sweet & subtle notes of the fruit.
Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Tasting Notes:This year’s Tuscan extra virgin olive oil is crafted from a blend of primarily Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino, Picual & Koroneiki olives. These olive varietals tend to produce characteristically grassy, peppery & fruity olive oils, and are harvested & milled early in the season to maximize the green and vibrant notes of the fruit.
Andalucian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Tasting Notes:This year’s Andalucian extra virgin olive oil is crafted from a blend of Lechin de Sevilla, Coratina, Hojiblanca, Koroneiki, Arbequina & Picual olives. These olive varietals tend to produce very strong, peppery and robust olive oils, and are harvested & milled in the middle in the season to balance the sharper and softer notes of the fruit.
